Germany’s cellular IoT market to hit 95 million SIMs in 2025

Europe’s largest economy is experiencing a rapid surge in cellular connected IoT devices with Vodafone Germany as the market leader.
According to a recent study by the German telecom industry association , around 95 million IoT SIM cards will be in use in Germany by the end of 2025, an increase of more than 30 million cards within just two years.
The increase means that dedicated IoT SIM cards will now make up 44% of all the 215 million SIM cards active nationwide.
